This year’s Rockingham Stages, organised by Thame MSC and Middlesex County AC, takes place over the weekend of 9/10th December and offers around 90 miles of competitive motoring over the 2 days. Following the successful format of previous years, we are again planning 12 stages of around 7 – 9 miles each. Scrutineering and Documentation will take place on the Friday evening and Saturday morning, followed by 6 stages in the afternoon, including the now infamous 2 in the dark – so get out those spot lights and lamp pods – with a further 6 stages on the Sunday.
With a sealed-surface service area and excellent spectator facilities, Rockingham is the ideal way to round off your 2017 season and entertain sponsors, friends and family or make suitable preparations for next year.
The Regulations and Entry Form will soon be available from the event website – www.rockinghamstages.co.uk – but in the meantime an entry form is available via the entries website – www.rallies.info/webentry/2017/rockingham and the preferred method of entry is via the on-line entry form. Entries are open now. The entry fee can be paid by bank transfer and has been kept at £370 – the same as last year despite substantial increased costs. For those unlucky enough to retire on the Saturday, there will be a Trophy Rally over the 6 Sunday stages at no additional cost.
On the Sunday, there will also be the Rockingham Sunday Stages – a 1-day event for those that are unable or do not wish to compete on the 2-day event. Scrutineering and documentation will be on the Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning, followed by the same 6 stages as the main event, offering around 45 miles of competitive motoring for an entry fee of only £270.
See the event website – www.rockinghamstages.co.uk – for more information, Regulations and the link to the on-line entry system.
